On Monday 13 April we held our Practice Show at Manor
Equestrian Centre – although the numbers were down this year we
were able to cover our costs and make a small profit and I think that
everyone who came would say that they had a very pleasant and relaxed
day. Manor Equestrian is a very nice venue, the only problem being no
warm up area and restricted parking, but people were very helpful and
parked on the road and there was plenty of time for ponies to warm up
in the school before the judging began.
I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to the judges
Dawn and Malcolm for being fantastic judges – Dawn even going as
far as being the cabaret in the afternoon! Also I would not have managed
without helpers, Suzanne and Barry on parking duties, Helen and Neil as
fantastic stewards, Ruth and Susie as secretaries and Maureen as rosette
monitor – very ably helped by a few little extras – Penny,
Charlotte, Josh and Lauren
