Knighton farm residents were inspired to hold a dressage show after recent success's with the Don't be Doubtful (Damp) Group. By kind permission of the owner we are lucky enough to have a 60 x 20 all weather surface and thought it would be nice to have some of the long dressage tests. We have permission for 2 more events this year so please keep an eye on the calender. We were very pleased with the number of entries (but would like more juniors next time) and the weather held out for us. in each class there were extra rosettes for best veteran rider, best veteran horse, best mountain and moorland, best junior rider. the open classes were percentage classes, you could enter either test (or both) and the highest percentage wins.
To make the walk and trot class more challenging i am currently designing a 60 x 20 walk and trot test.
