Classifieds Details
We are still getting a lot of adverts submitted without basic required information. Anyone posting an advert is entirely responsible for the advert. If we can’t trace the person responsible, we can’t accept the advert. Paid ads are more relaxed as the details are provided for the shopping cart.
All ads will hide your street address, phone number & Email address by default, but if you do not want to give details online, you can register for a User ID by Email. This can be used in place of your name & address in all of your ads.
For your User ID, simply send your name, address & phone number to editor@nfed.co.uk
Your details will be kept in strictest confidence in line with the data protection act.

Loan/Part Loan/Share/Lease/Riding Offered Ads
I apologise if the pricing structure appears complicated for loans, shares, part loans or riding offered, but we are trying to make it as fair as possible for genuine shares, without leaving it open to abuse. The far simpler alternative is to charge for all ads, so please help us to help you by taking the time to read the guidelines & wording your advert appropriately.

To qualify for a free advert there must be no chance of moving (full loan) or selling the animal.
If no contribution payment is required, this must be clearly stated.
If payment is required, it must be under £100 per month (£25.00 per week) & clearly stated in the ad. The advert will be subject to the standard £8.50 payment if this information is not provided.

How can I use the NFED Services Directory to promote my equestrian business, service or organisation?

The NFED has been online since 1999 and in this time has become the respected and established equestrian information site for central southern England and beyond. The NFED is linked from such sites as the: BHS, Hampshire Police, BBC, DEFRA, ILPH as well as hundred of smaller sites and search engines, receiving thousands of visitors every day.

We use social networking sites Twitter & Facebook to help promote the NFED & its sponsors.
We pay for sponsored advertising on sites such as Google & Facebook.
We sponsor local shows, again to help advertise the NFED, whilst putting something back into the community.

Whether you are working on your own or have hundreds of employees, the NFED can help you reach new customers or members within the equine community. We do not allow services to be advertised through the classifieds or message boards but we can help you to promote your business or service through the Services Directory

Each Directory listing will accept up to 750 words, a photo or logo. If you have a website, a link can be added to open your own website in a new window. YouTube videos or similar can be inserted into your listing.

You can log in to modify your listing as often as you wish or you can ask us to sort this out for you, the choice is yours.

Submitting your listing in the directory is very simple. To apply online, just go to the directory and click on the submit listing link. Fill in the submission form and select which categories are appropriate for your listing. You can use just one or enter the same listing in up to four categories providing they are relevant. Choose a password and submit your entry.

Your listing will be checked by the administrator and providing everything is ok, will be approved when payment has been received. We will also add your details to the advertiser A to Z and link to your individual listings, your details will be posted under "What's New" on the NFED homepage and sent out to the mailing list.

The NFED Classifieds will accept links to websites providing that they are directly related to the advert and not in competition with the NFED sponsors. As a sponsor you are allowed to post links to your website on all your adverts.
