Latest on the Server Move

Our new dedicated server is up & running & is now hosting much of the main site, but there is still a lot to move over including the Business Directory, Event Calendar & all the News pages. There will be two sites running to keep disruption to a minimum with links being changed hopefully unnoticed in the background.

When the whole site has been replicated on the new server the main domain name will be transferred over, so the site will be unavailable at nfed.co.uk for a short time, but will still be available via our other domain names.

Any updates will be posted on the support forum, mailing list & our Facebook page.

I apologies in advance for any disruption, but these changes are necessary for the site to continue to grow. We are now averaging over 5000 unique visitors per day with around 30000 page views per day (Hits are in the millions but to be honest are a pretty meaningless way of counting visitors). We now have over 4000 fans on Facebook receiving all the latest news & featured ads directly to their own Facebook News page.

After the change over is complete, the entire NFED will be held on one single UK (Canary Wharf) high speed server, rather than being spread over several both here & in the US. We will have dedicated 24/7 specialist support & unmetered bandwidth. It is going to cost more, but I am hoping that we can lose the extra costs without having to make any changes to our prices.

Gilly specializes in the overall performance of horse and rider. This clinic will be in the indoor arena at Tollard Park and tailor made to suit you as an individual. You may wish to work on improving suppleness and way of going or you may like the opportunity to practice specific movements of tests, in preparation for your next competition.

We all know what the weather can be like in England, so this is a great opportunity to ride in the luxury of an indoor arena, allowing you to focus on improving your performance in a dry, comfortable environment.
